Quick Bite

posted in: Food | 4

So my mum’s out of town, which means I have to make my own food… yes, I cannot cook [insert embarrassed face].

On the flip side I’ve managed to keep healthy, nibbling on this scrumptious snack: tuna salad on wheat crackers.  Not only is it one of the easiest things to make (trust me when I say easy, I can barely even fry an egg properly), its nutritional value and yummy taste is a double bingo.

A tin of shredded tuna, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber and mayo: Viola! While there are many wheat crackers to choose from, my all-time favorite, with only 22 calories per serving, is Pyotts Wheatsworth. These baked crackers can be found in almost every grocery store.

If you’re looking for a delicious and health-friendly snack for any time of the day, you know what to do 😉

Max. time to make: 15 mins.

I’m not sure. I’m not too fond of having any thing fishy as a pizza topping due to bad past experiences..
Will try it out some time and let you know. 🙂
